HIGHLIGHTS:

As part of a team, determined the most suitable route for 130 kV, 240 kV power transmission lines and substation expansions

• Contacted each person with line-of-sight to the proposed routes and substation expansions.
• Answered questions and provided additional information on the projects.
• Relayed landowner concerns to the client and addressed concerns with additional information and consultation.

 

PROJECT: Public Consultation

LOCATION: Mountain National Parks, BC and Alberta

CLIENT: Parks Canada

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Developed a detailed public and Mountain National Parks consultation strategy for determining benefits and potential issues with the • Mountain National Parks (Yoho, Kootenay, Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff) prescribed fire and fuel management strategies.
• Surveyed applicable Parks personnel for their input on the current strategies and available literature.
• Developed and carried out a detailed survey, contact list and open house itinerary for stakeholders in the Parks (guides, outfitters, lodge owners, and tour companies).

 

PROJECT: Public Consultation

LOCATION: Highwood, Southern Alberta

CLIENT: AXYS Environmental Consulting Ltd. and Highwood Public Advisory Committee.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Developed water conservation strategies using non-storage options.
• Worked with a team to develop the most effective and feasible methods of water conservation; presented the project, with discussion and feedback, to the Public Advisory Committee of the area.

 

PROJECT: Public Consultation

LOCATION: Crossfield, Alberta

CLIENT: Rosetta Exploration Inc.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Performed a detailed public consultation, environmental inspection and review of public safety for this critical sour gas well.
• Was available 24 hours a day for emergency response and resident issues within the Emergency Planning Zone.
