PROJECT: Municipal Development Plan

LOCATION: Medicine Hat, Alberta

CLIENT: The City of Medicine Hat and Matrix Planning Inc.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Revised Medicine Hat’s Municipal Development Plan with Matrix Planning. Working as the project assistant and environmental coordinator.
• Performed extensive consultation with the City of Medicine Hat’s Gas and Utilities, Electricity, Parks and Recreation departments, as well as grassroots organizations.
• Contributed to a new Municipal Development Plan that encompassed sustainable practices with reduced non-renewable energy consumption.
• Gathered information on electricity, gas and water consumption in Medicine Hat, and other cities of similar populations in Alberta.
