PROJECT: Conservation and Reclamation Plans

LOCATION: Northern Alberta

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Wrote the soils components of Environmental Impact Assessments and the Conservation and Reclamation Plans for Stream Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAG-D), Cyclic Steam Stimulation and Toe To Heel Air Injection pilot project.
• Worked with Alberta Environment and oil company representatives.
• Provided soil salvage volumes, storage methods, seed mixes and reclamation phasing for reclamation certification by Alberta Environment.
• Clients: Imperial Oil, ConocoPhillips, AXYS Environmental Consulting Inc.

PROJECT: 3PC Review for the Oil Sand Environmental Impact Assessments

LOCATION: Northern Alberta

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Acted as a Third Party Consultant (3PC) for auditing EIA and C&R applications.
• Worked with a team to review the applications on behalf of Alberta Environment.
• Provided Strategic Information Requests to the client on behalf of Alberta Environment.
• Clients: IRIS Environmental Solutions, Devon Canada, Connacher.
